Scott and Bev Thomson have been in business together since 1986 and have been leaders and drivers of their Rotorua based Coatings and Aerosol Manufacturing Operation Damar Industries, which has grown and developed into a world class Manufacturer of some 3000 products across five separate market sectors.

Damar’s purpose built $23m facility spans a three hectare site in prestigious Eastgate Business Park and employs a staff of 165.

Scott and Bev have always had a passion for property development and prior to starting Eastgate Developments in 2001, successfully developed and sold four homes in the Papamoa area as well as private homes in Rotorua.
